CELEBRATE 80TH BIRTHDAYS October 27 the family of Mr. Arthur Baker gathered at his home to celebrate his 80thbirth- day. Monday evening November 1 about twenty neighbors in Green Acres gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Baker to celebrate four neighbors' birth- days who are all 80 years of age just recently. They were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Baker, Mr. Harry Appleton and Mr. Merritt Thomp- son each received a gift and en- joyed a social evening which was a great surprise to all of them. WI The Grand Bend WI met Thurs- day in the town hall. Mrs. Carman Lovie, convener of historical research and cur- rent events spoke on "Upper Can- ada Village and old costumes"..
