Still under construction
The sewer project for Lucan is still underway but the
project has moved from the center of town and there is
less hold-up of traffic. The earth from this escavation at
the north end of the village is being trucked away from
the construction site as the ditch is opened. (T-A photo)

"YOUR TOWN"
If YOU want to live in the
kind of town
Like the kind of town you
like,
You needn't slip your clothes
in a grip
And start on a long, long
hike;
You only find what you left
behind,
For there's nothing really
new.
You knock yourself when you
knock your town
It isn't your town, it's you.
Real towns aren't made by
men afraid
Lest somebody gets ahead.
If everyone works and no one
shirks,
You'll raise a town from
the dead.
If, while you make your per-
sonal stake,
Your neighbor makes his,
too,
Your town will be what you
want to see.
It isn't your town, it's you.

Brother! Am I glad I bought Investors Mutual
Since 1950, this man's investment in Investors Mutual has
more than tripled in value. That's why he's so happy. Now
Investors does not wish to imply that you can make a fortune
overnight. But the fact remains — a lot of people have made
a lot of money through Investors Mutual. Why don't you start
this simple, modern way to invest in Canada's leading indus-
tries? You can do so with a deposit of $500 or as little as $15 a
month. Shouldn't you see the Man from Investors today?
