Mrs. Ray Webb, RR 2 Dash-
wood, sister of the bride, as
matron of honor, wore a floor-
length gown of jade green crepe
featuring a scoop neckline, three-
quarter sleeves and back panel
which extended from a bow.
Bridesmaids, Miss Eleanor Die-
trich, Mt. Carmel, and Miss
Sandra O'Rourke were gowned
similarly to the matron of honor.
The attendants carried yellow and
bronze mums. The flower girl,
Miss Julie Webb, wore a white
floor-length gown with green sash
and hat.
Andre Durand, Zurich, was
best man and Messrs. P a ul
Weido, Pat Jeffrey and Richard
O'Rourke ushered guests.
The bride's mother wore a
dress of cerise with black ac-
cessories and corsage of white
carnations. The groom's mother
chose a gown of teal blue with
white accessories and corsage
of pink carnations.
A reception was held in Dash-
wood Community Centre.
The bride travelled in a three
piece cranberry suit with black
accessories and corsage of white
roses.
The couple will reside in Sar-
nia.
Members of Crediton UCW
were guests of Main Street UCW
for a Thanksgiving meeting mon-
day evening when Dr. E. A. Mc-

the ceremony. Mr. Paul Dietrich
of Mount Carmel played the wed-
ding music and accompanied the
soloist, Mr. T. Harry Hoffman
of Da.shwood.
Given in marriage by her father
the bride chose a floor-length
sheath gown of white satapeau.
The bodice was highlighted by a
shallow scoop neckline and long
lily point sleeves. Appliques of
Chantilly lace accented the skirt

He spoke of his three-week
safari telling of the wild ani-
mals, the scenery and the natives.
He was introduced by Rev. R. S.
Hiltz and thanked by Mrs. Ar-
nold Mathers.
The worship was in charge of
Mrs. Jim Hennessey assisted
by Mrs. Peter Raymond and Mrs.
Ross Tuckey. Mr. Robert Gra-
ham, Crediton, favored with
Thanksgiving solos accompanied
by Mrs. Graham, President Mrs.
Lorne Porter was in the chair.
The annual bazaar will be held
November 20 at 3 pm at the
church with homemade baking,
fancy work, antiques, Christmas
decor and tea will be served.

partially beaten egg white (one
teaspoon to one cup of whites)

A candlelight service and bas-
kets of white and yellow gladioli
provided the setting at Greenway
United Church, when Heather
Diane MacGregor and John An-
drew Tinsley exchanged wedding
vows in a double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Donald H. Mac-
Gregor of Parkhill, and the groom
is the son of Mrs. W. A. Tinsley
of Sarnia. Rev. G. E. Morrow of
Grand Bend officiated at the wed-
ding which took place September
24, at '7:30 in the evening.
Wedding music was provided
by Miss Evelyn Curts of Parkhill
and the soloist, Mrs. Donna Jean
Watts of London sang "The Wed-
ding Prayer" and "0 Perfect
Love".
The bride was given away by
her father, Donald H. MacGregor.
She chose a floor-length gown of
white silk on organza over taffeta,
styled with fitted bodice and fea-
turing a scoop neckline. The con-
trolled skirt and elbow-length
sleeves were accented by wide
bands of hand embroidered Italian
lace and small bows. Her shoul-
der-length, double-tiered veil of
imported candlelight pure silk,
was held by a headdress of silk
and peau de soie flowers, with
seed pearls. She carried a bou-
quet of small white roses and
ivy.
Miss Patricia MacDonald of
Sarnia was maid of honor and
the bridesmaids were Miss Bon-
nie Jean MacGregor, sister of
the bride, and Miss Betty Ellenor
of Sarnia. They were gowned
alike in floor length sleeveless
dresses of moss green peau de
soie, with scoop necklines and
sheath skirts, lightly gathered
at the waist. They wore long
white gloves and headdresses
of moss green peau de soie bows
with matching veils, and car-
ried bouquets of bronze and yel-
low mums.
Patrick Mackie, of Port Huron,
Michigan, was best man, and
ushers were Donald Laidlaw and
Edward DeMarsh, both of Sarnia.
Receiving guests at a reception
held at the Colonial Hotel, Grand
Bend, Mrs. MacGregor wore a
sleeveless dress with matching
jacket of spun satin and ribboned
peau de soie design. The street
length dress of chocolate brown
color was accented by matching
accessories and she wore a cor-

chose a three piece double knit
suit of moss green. Dark brown
accessories completed her out-
fit and she wore a corsage of
small yellow roses.
The couple will reside in Sar-
nia.
