CAMP SITE DONATED
A concerned layman, Mr. Cecil
Kohl of Hamilton and member of
Pilgrim Lutheran Church, inter-
ested in the church's youth and
the possibilities to which camp
and retreat facilities might be
put to use in the program of
Christian education and growth
offered to the Ontario District
of the Lutheran Church of Canada
about 50 acres of land.
The property is located in
Seneca Township about 20 miles
south of downtown Hamilton and
about 10 miles north Cayuga.
A district appointed Camp
Committee. Rev. K. Zorn, former
pastor Zion Lutheran Church,
Dashwood, is chairman of the
camp committee. He recom-
mended to a special meeting of
the church body in Kitchener,
Sept. 21, the acquisition of the
property with serious consider-
ation to be given to the develop-
ment of the land for camp pur-
poses as soon as possible.
The Committee reported that
"such a camp could provide a
place set apart for learning,
meditation and fellowship to get
away from the regular routine
of school, job, congregation, and
get a new perspective on goals,
needs and plans through study,
joint planning and sharing."
"Camping", it reported,
"should be a part of the educa-
tional tools of the church".

Sometimes it takes drought conditions
like those suffered in Eastern Ontario
to make dairymen appreciate the value
of forage feed produced in their fields.
Every extra mouthful you produce
helps keep outside purchases down.
To get more forage from your fields
you need an Agrico Fall Fertilizer Pro-
gram. It will pay off in extra yield,
extra grazing days and extra feed
value for the animal.
