Top points at Huron Park meet
Smiling John Franklin, age 17, receives the Huron Park Trophy from W/C Comishen. The Huron Park
Trophy is awarded to the service dependent accumulating the most points during the track and field
events. John is the son of Maj. and Mrs. E. M. Franklin of 3 Columbia Crescent, Huron Park. A grade
13 student at SHDHS, John is active in football, hockey, the school athletic society and student council.
This year be is president of the Huron Park Teen Town. On completion of his school year John plans
to follow in his father's footsteps and enter the School of Dentistry at University of Western Ontario,

years.

patient in South Huron hospital,
Exeter.
Martin Manley and his friend
Robert Johnson of Southampton
are spending a few days with his
father Mr. Glen Manley.
Mr. and Mrs. Willis Gill, Su-
san and Allan and Miss Alma Bor-
land of Toronto are on a motor
trip through the Canadian West
and will visit relatives at Calgary
and Banff.
