Family reunited after 26-year absence
Stephen and Jerry Orenczuk of Exeter and their brother Jack of
Guelph gather with their families to welcome their mother, Mrs.
Anna Orenczuk on her arrival from the Ukraine, from behind the
Iron Curtain. Stephen last saw his mother 26 years ago when he
left for the Second World War. The legal fight to win permission
for her immigration took nine years to complete. Mrs. Orenczuk
met six grandchildren on her arrival.
