WILLIAM ROHDE THAMES ROAD Bible school was brought to a close Friday evening when the children put on a program. Mr. Victor Jeffery was chairman for the program which consis- ted of musical numbers, vocal duets and Biblical readings. Mrs. Ray Cann and Mrs. Wil- liam Johns were the organizers, assisted by Sunday Schooltea- chers and CGIT. All people retired to the base- ment to see what the children had accomplished during the week. There was an average attendance of 95 children. PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. William Snow, Bill, Bob and Jimmy are visi- ting with relatvies in Baltimore, Maryland. Mrs. Jennie Moore is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Elliott at their cottage at Grand Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Eth- erington are holidaying in the Maritimes. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Jeffery, Alan and Connie were Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Ray- mond Heard of Kirkton. Quite a number from this community attended the Pass- more picnic held at Riverview Park, Exeter, Sunday, and also the Passmore picnic held at Ipperwash Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Thomson and family of Wood- ham visited on Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Jeff- ery. Mr. Lloyd Morgan of Cen- tralia was guest speaker at the church service Sunday. He will also be the speaker Sunday, July 18. The annual Sunday School pic- nic will be held Friday July 16 at 12:30 noon at Riverview Park, Exeter. By MRS. M. H. Miss Kathy Flannigan of Lon- don is holidaying for the next couple of weeks with her cousin Brenda Blair. Guests were received by the hostess, the bride-elect and Mrs. J. E. Kilpatrick, mother of the groom-elect. The tea table covered with a lace cloth was centred with an arrangement of sweet peas and delphiniums flanked by pink candles in silver candelabras. Pouring tea were Mrs. Ethel Squire, grandmother of the bride-elect, and Mrs. Helen Hart, Detroit. Assisting in the tea room were Mrs. Allen Gee, Miss Tennis Gee, Miss Loreen Hodgins and Mrs. Shirley Nib- lock.
