Ratz Reunion
The descendants of the late
John and Barbara Ratz held
their annual reunion at the home
of Mrs. Martha Rats, Crediton
road.
A number of guests attended
the reunion. They were Mrs.
Herman Martin and Miss Pat
Martin, Delaware, Miss Alvina
Yager and Mr. Jack Yager of
Toronto, Mr. Peter McLeod,
Exeter, Miss Violet Sharpe,

Some local enthusiasts
Skateboarding, the sport termed unsafe by the Ontario Safety
Council, never attained much popularity in this area, although it
did in many other centres, especially in the U.S.A. However,
some of the local youths have been spotted trying their skills
in the past couple of weeks and pictured above are Doug Taylor
and Richard Frayne as they cruise down the Main Street hill
near the river. Although this picture may not suggest it, the
pair attained some top speeds in their runs. --T-A photo

Sunday, June 20, ninety mem-
bers of the Paton clan met at the
home of Torn and George Glen-
dinning for their annual reunion.
After a picnic dinner the
President, Earl paton, conduct-
ed a short business meeting.
Plans were made to hold next
year's picnic at Grand Bend
Legion Park.
