evening with a good crowd in
attendance. A picnic supper was
enjoyed after which the sports
committee had charge of the
races and relays. Rain inter-
rupted the sports program.

The Explorer girls held their
graduation service last Wed-
nesday evening with their moth-
ers and friends as guests. The
address a welcome was given
by the leader, Mrs. Ken Park-
inson. A sing song led by Karen
Rodd was then enjoyed, followed
by the meditation byJoy Thack-
er.
Linda Tomlinson read apoem
and the scripture was read by
Shirley Timms. BettyJean Mil-
ler read a story and Arlene
Johns led in prayer. The offer-
ing was received by Judy Dickey
and Maxine IVIcCorquodale. A
filmstrip, "Trip to Brasilia"
was shown by Miss Jean Cope-
land with Mrs. Lloyd Jaques,
assistant leader as commenta-
tor. A song was sung by the
Explorer girls accompanied by
Ann Parkinson at the piano.
Graduation pins and certifi-
cates were presented to Linda
Tomlinson, Arlene Johns, Shir-
ley Timms, Betty Jean Miller
and Karen Rodd by Mrs. Ken
Parkinson.
An invitation was extended
to the girls by Mrs. Glenn
Copeland to join the CGIT. Mrs.
Copeland also explained the
purpose of the CGIT. Karen
Rodd read a letter of apprecia-
tion to the Explorer leader.
MESSENGERS MEET
The Messengers meeting for
June was held on the church
lawn during church service with
the President Shirley Timms in
charge.
The theme of the meeting
was "Being A Good Friend".
Robin Dickey read the scrip-
ture. Jeanette Hooper lead in
prayer and Carl Langford read

of Mrs. John McAllister Tues-
day afternoon.
The five ladies were born the
same year and were presented
with a corsage of red roses
when they arrived. A program
of contests and readings was
given by Mrs. Sam Skinner,
Mrs. Bob Blair and Mrs. Allen
Elston. Those present were

The 14th Morenz reunion was
held July 4 at the Brodhagen
Community Centre with about
100 present. President Norman
Morons presided for the busi-
ness.
Mr. Orville Kahle, Kitchener,
was elected the new president.
Secretary is Mrs. Edwin Feltz,
RR 2 Mitchell; treasurer, Mr.
Bob Boyd, Toronto; table com-
mittee, Mrs. Bill Jeffery, Strat-
ford, and Mrs. Michael Con-
nolly, Sebringville; sports com-
mittee, Earl Stephen, Woodham,
and Bill Jeffery, Stratford.
It was voted to continue the
reunions at the Brodhagen Com-
munity Centre. There was a
minute's silence for the ones
passed away this year. Included
were Mrs. Louise Morons, Kim
Corbett and J. Jefferey.
Mr. & Mrs. Don Adams were
in charge of the sports. The
person guessing the correct
number of articles in an egg
