Ills, injuries hit Clandeboye;
couple mark 25 years wed
Terry Morgan, nine-year-
old twin son of Mr. and Mrs.
Earl Morgan is a patient in
St. Joseph's Hospital where
he has spent about s e en
weeks. He will have to spend
a few more weeks in hospital.
He was injured at the Bid-
dulph Central School and suf-
fered a broken hip.
Mr. Clarence Millson has
been a patient in St. Joseph's
Hospital but is expected to
return home this week.
Mr. Roy McRann is a pa-
tient in South Huron Hospital,
Exeter, but is improving.
Miss Beth McRann, has
been very sick with the flu at
her home here. Mrs. Cecil
Carter has been with her for
a few days.
Recently Mr. and Mrs.
David Kestle celebrated
their 25th wedding anniver-
sary. Guests were Mr. David
Hall and Mrs. Clare Cook,
Detroit, Mrs. Emily Kestle
of Exeter, Mr. and Mrs. Da-
yid Newman, London and
family Helen, Tom, Nancy,
Janis and Dorothy who cele-
brated her fourth birthday
and had as her guest, Kevin
Carter.
Mr. and Mrs. Kestle were
married in Exeter by Rev.
Penrose. They lived there
for a time but have lived in
Clandeboye 11 years. They
are members of the Clande-
boye United Church.

At St. James Church here
a new altar book at the out-
set of the service was dedi-
cated by the rector, the Rev.
E. 0. Lancaster. It was given
in memory of her father and
mother, Mr. and Mrs. Abbott
Lewis, by their daughter,
Mrs. James Paton.
A good crowd attended the
service with Holy Commun-
ion dispensed. On the re-
table at the altar the white
mums made a nice setting.
On the organ, were two East-
er lilies. Miss Joan Cunning-
ham is organist.
Good Friday the service
was at 2 o'clock with the
rector the Rev. E. 0. Lan-
caster presiding.
UNITED CHURCH
At the United Church, Eas-
ter service was held with
the Rev. G. W. Sach and Mrs.
Sach as pianist. Misses
Nancy Kestle and Judith Scott
sang The Old Rugged Cross
and Miss Marjorie Donald-
son sang The Holy City.
UC CENTENNIAL
The day for the centen-
nial is set for June 6, 1965,
when former ministers will
be guests. At 11 am Rev.
R. B. Cumming will preach.
Lunch will be served.
At 8 pm Rev. S. R. John-
ston will preach with the
Evangelical UB Choir to
sing. Lucan service will be
withdrawn.
CGIT IN LONDON
Monday Mr. David Kestle
of Clandeboye drove the
chartered Murphy bus to
London for CGIT for Lucan
and Clandeboye.
They enjoyed the visit to
McCormicks where 47 were
treated. They enjoyed Mary
Poppins show, also had sup-
per at Toddle-Inn.
