He emphasized the important

of the participants in the break-

Last Wednesday 45 men rep-
resenting 1 o cal government,
business, and the professions
joined the clergy of Exeter's
churches in a luncheon meeting
at the Christian Reformed
Church. The Mayor of Exeter,
John H. Delbridge, welcomed
those who had come and ex-
pressed thanks to the clergy
for their invitation.
The Rev. Fr. J. Kelly said
that although he was not techni-
cally a member of the Exeter
Ministerial he was certainly
always willing to be associated
with the other ministers in such
endeavours as this. Opening
devotions were conducted by the
host pastor, The Rev. A. J,
Stienstra.
Apologies from those unable
to be present included a mes-
sage from the Hon. Charles S.
MacNaughton, who expressed
his interest in the subject which
had brought the men together.
The special guest for the
occasion was introduced by the
Rev. John Boyne. Mr. Frank
Whilsmith, an Exeter native,
and head of several committees
of the Presbyerial Church at
the national level presented the
film of the 10th Annual Presi-
dential Prayer Breakfast, held
in Washington in 1963, at which
the late President Kennedy was
present.
Mr. Whilsmith, himself pre-
sent at that breakfast, said that
five copies of this film had
been made at a cost of $50,-
