Some T-A readers not only check our ad but apparently
know our stock better than we do. Yes, ready-made
suits start as low as $49.50 and run to $69.50, They're
the same fine tailored craftsmanship that goes into
our made-to-measure at $85. But the beauty of it,
they're made up and ready to take home . . . and of
course at these lower prices. Check into Walper's
this weekend to complete a spring outfit. You'll feel
better for it.

How much is there?
That's the question most of the visitors to the new office of
British Mortgage & Trust have been attempting to answer, and
the person guessing the closest will be permitted to take as much
silver out of the chest as he can. One female visitor takes a
good look before making her estimate. The contest closes on
April 15. The ornate chest was made in the workshop of the
Stratford Shakespearean Festival for use in the play, The Mer-
chant of Venice, in 1955. --Jack Doerr photo
