James Kirkland active in lodge James Bryden Kirkland, 66, died In South Huron Hospital, Friday, January 22, 1965, He had been in failing health for the past four years. Mr. Kirkland was born in Ayrshire, Scotland. He served with the Imperial Army during World War I. In 1921 he came to Canada, where he worked on various farms in this area. In 1931 he married Lena Pym of Usborne Township. Prior to his retirement in 1961 he had worked 15 years at RCAF Sta- tion, Centralia. He was a member of James Street United Church and had been an IOOF member since 1942. An IOOF service was conducted Sunday evening.
