But there Was no shortage of goals as 12 were scored In the two games. The first game ended in a victory for the Leafs as they de- feated the Canadiens 5-0, Dale Parkinson and Joe O'Rourke each scored two and Bob Par- sons one for the Leafs. The second game was nip and tuck all the way with a final score of 4-3 for the Hawks over the Wings. For the Hawks, Larry Haugh had the hat trick with a single goal by Steven Wuerth. All the goals for the Wings were scored by Don Schenk who also had the hat trick. In the Squirt division the No. 2 team defeated the No. 1 team 2-1. The locals won their seventh straight Shamrock contest last Wednesday with a. close 3-2 win over third place Lambeth. Chris Riddell scored two goals with Scott Parks scoring the winning goal in the third period of the closely played match. In WOAA play the Lorne Haugh coached crew showed their scoring power by lacing an Inexperienced Zurich squad by a 16-1 store.
