ter's pass and ambled over for
the score.
This play, which gave the
hosts their 27-0 lead, seemed
to break the Panthers spirit and
the final quarter became a de-
fensive squad battle.
The Panthers did have one
bright spot in their offense when
Gary E agle s o n, who played
mainly on the defense this year,
showed some inspired running
and ball carrying, especially on
third downs when the local s
gambled.
The game was delayed mid-
way through the fourth quarter
when SH quarterback Dale Mc-
Allister was injured by a block.
He was removed to hospital by
ambulance but X-rays showed
only a severe chest bruise, and
he was able to return on the
players' bus.
Mr. Bogart and his squad have
put together one of the better
season records in the past se-
veral years and have given the
school some fine football. They
won their first four league
starts before losing the final
two.
The team is to be commended
for the spirit they displayed
throughout the season and their
failing to win the championship
has only fired them up for next
season.
