It's a dog's life
Some person with a strange idea of kindness to dumb animals
dropped seven young pups around Exeter over the weekend.
Fortunately, the animals weren't quite as dumb as he was and
they managed to arrive at various homes at the west side of
town and were turned over to the police. In all, the police had
to make seven pickups from Saturday through to Sunday, and
the pups were taken to local veterinarian, Dr. R. F. Roelofsen,
shown here feeding the dogs. Two of the pups were accepted at
the "foster homes" they chose, but there are still five avail-
able for anyone wishing them. They have been wormed by Dr.
Roelofson and he listed them as being part Terrier, with short
hair. They're yours for the asking, but there is no trial period
offered. There is one male and four females. --T-A photo
