Only slight change in name of management
Staffa has a new postmaster, but the only change made was from Walter B. O'Brien to Mrs, Walter
B. O'Brien. Mr. O'Brien was recently retired from the post after 23 years and he received a scroll
from the Postmaster General, John R. Nicholson, for his "faithful service rendered to the depart-
ment". Mr. O'Brien, who serves as a bookkeeperfor the Hibbert Co-Operative Dairy Association,
will be succeeded by his wife in the post office. Mr. O'Brien's retirement was mandatory due to his
age. --T-A photo
