Alfred Moffatt, 62, a well known trucker and farm- er, was stricken with a heart attack Saturday while In the field plowing. He got off the tractor to do some repairing and died suddenly. He lived inKippen community all his life and was past reeve of Tuckersmith Township, a member of and past Master of Huron Lodge AF & AM-224 Hensall, and a member of St. Andrew's United Church, Kip- pen. To mourn his loss he leaves his wife, Esther, sons, Eldred of Lambeth, and Gerald of Kip- pen, three grandchildren, a brother, Lorne of Regina, two sisters, Alberta McBeath, Hen- sail, and Lavine. Mr. O'Brien was recently retired from the post after 23 years and he received a scroll from the Postmaster General, John R. Nicholson, for his "faithful service rendered to the depart- ment". Mr. O'Brien, who serves as a bookkeeperfor the Hibbert Co-Operative Dairy Association, will be succeeded by his wife in the post office.
