a float for the parade at Exeter
Fair,

sored jointly by the Hydro and
the Sorority was discussed, It
is being held in the Legion Hall
and door prizes will be given.
Sorority members are also
selling tickets on a handmade
quilt to be drawn for near the
Christmas season,

to host WI rally
Huron County WI rally will
be held Monday, October 5, in
Hensa 11 United Church with
morning and afternoon ses-
sions. Registration is at 9;30
am.
Tweedsmuir history book
covers, Exeter Fair exhibits
and handicrafts will be on dis-
play at the noon hour.
Mrs. John McLean, Seaforth,
will give highlights of the Na-
tional Convention held at Wolf-
ville, N.S„, a film will be shown
and the presentation of scholar-
ships will take place.

ing City Challenges the Church"

church last Monday evening.
The study was followed by a
question and discussion period.
Devotions were led by Mrs.
Alex Maisie. Mrs. J. C. Boyne
was in charge of the program.
Donations for the WMS bale
were handed in. Miss Carolyn
Simpson and Mrs. J. R. Sun-
seth served lunch.

carnation corsage.

the bride changed to a two-
piece aqua double knit suit with
black accessories and white
orchid corsage.
The couple will reside at
RR 2 Denfield.

from New York, Parkhill, Exe-
ter, London, Lucan and Strat-
ford.

field, Saturday, September 12 at
3 p.m.
Rev. E. 0. Lancaster officiat-
ed and Mrs. William Smibert,
Denfield, furnished the wedding
music and accompanied the
soloist, Mr. Bruce Henry,
Clandeboye, who sang The Wed-
ding Prayer and The Lord's
Prayer.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride chose a floor-
1 e ngth gown of Italian silk
fashioned with a modified scoop
neckline, lily point sleeves and
bodice trimmed with guipure
lace. The lace trim extended
to the controlled skirt which
fell to a chapel train. Her
headpiece was a tiny pill-box
with lace trim and seed pearls
set off by a shoulder-length
four-tiered veil of French silk
illusion. She carried a bouquet
of white roses and stephanotis
centred with a white orchid.

Mr, and Mrs. Earl Kinsman
received word of the death of
Mrs. Kinsman's eldest sister,
Mrs. Lilly Wildfong, 78, the
former Lilly Wallis, who passed
away Thursday, September '7
in the Estevan Hospital, Saskat-
chewan where she had been a
patient for the past three weeks
following a severe stroke.
Her husband, Jacob Wildfong,
predeceased her 23 years ago,
He was formerly of Exeter.
She is survived by three sis-
ters: Mrs. Ally McCall and
Mrs. Gordon (Gertie) Young,
both of Alameda, Sask.; Mrs.
Earl (Eliza) Kinsman, Crom-
arty.
A sister and brother pre-
deceased her some years ago.
Funeral service was held Sat-
urday with burial in Frobisher,
Sask.
