The corner stpne was laid July 13 and the chapel dedicated on Sept. 7 by Bishop Tewnsheed, suffragan bishop of Huron. The Edwards glass company replaced the six church wind- ows Wednesday that were being reloaded. They make such a difference with the colors from the plain glass that was used while the others were being repaired. MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES - will be held at Zion Cemetery, Usborne Township on Sunday, August 30. Service in the church at 2:30 pm conducted by the Rev. Sach of Lucan. Ross W, Herm secretary-treasurer of the Zion Cemetery Association. 27c read reapeasively followed by prayer bY the Bishop. Upon the return to the church the official document was read by the. rector and signed by the Bishop, Who preamited it to the rector and warden of the church for safe keeping. The property was bought from the crown to the Canada Com- pany July 1831 and conveyed by the Canada Company to the church society known as St. James church and St. James cemetery. The last consecration service was held May 1, 1921 fora new range by the late Bishop David Williams. The late Rev. Ken- neth McGoun was rector at that time and also, when the first decoration and memorial ser- vice was held Sept. 9, 1923. A mausoleum was built in 1926.
