VIEW SALAD PICS The second meeting of the Kirkton Happy Hoers was held Monday evening, May 11 at the home of Mrs. Ross Marshall. The first part of the meeting was held outdoors. Nineteen girls answered the roll call. Mrs. Marshall showed the members her garden. Notes were given on trans- planting vegetables. Miss Black, home economist, visited the club and showed an interest- ing film on salads. STUDY BIBLE WOMEN At the UCW meeting for which Mrs. Carl Mills was hostess Mrs. Alvin Crago conducted an interesting study of the women of the Bible. Mrs. Jack Urquhart conduct- ed the worship service assisted by Mrs. Jack Robinson, Mrs. Roger Urquhart, and Mrs. Ray- mond Paynter. The study was taken by Mrs. Ross Marshall. An invitation was received from Anderson UCW to attend their meeting May 22. The roll call was answered by 18 mem- bers.
