ner and Helen Rats. Lois Learn
and Lois Ottewell ended up in
second and third place with 53
and 52 points respectively.
The Tuesday race was even
closer and Verna Fink with 52
points finished only one peint
ahead of Kay Elston. Barbara
Bell finished third with 50
Points. On the winning Fink
team are Jean Miller, Liz L am-
port and Margaret Strang.

Zion Lutheran Aid was held
following the Lenten service
Wednesday evening with the
sermon serving as the topic.
Thirty-five members were Pre-
sent. Several donations and
cards of thanks were received.
Quilting is in full swing every
week. Books are being ordered
for the library. The ladies will
serve a sunrise breakfast on
Easter morning.
WORLD DAY OF PRAYER
A large group of ladies gath-
ered at the Dash wood HUB
church from Grand Bend UC,
Church of God, and Anglican,
along with the HUB ladies Fri-
day, Feb. 14, for the World Day
of Prayer service.
Mrs. J. N. Tiernan was chair-
lady and Mrs. George Link,
Mrs. Wattam, Mrs. Annie Sher-
itt and Mrs. Rufus Turnbull took
part.
Mrs. F. Plumb led in "Active
Penitence". Mrs. Harold Wal-
per had the meditation assisted
by Mrs. C. Kennedy and Mrs.
Alec Hamilton, Mrs, Jack
Gaiser was soloist, The ushers
were Mrs. Harold Kellerman
and Mrs. Carl Oestreicher.
A film "The Lord's Prayer"
was shown in the basement fol-
lowed by a fellowship hour.

The Huron County Health Unit will hold a subsidized
minimum fee rabies clinic in the
Harvey Ratz' Garage,
Shipka Tuesday, February 25
from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.
Vaccination against rabies will be provided for dogs
and cats three months of age and over. A fee of 50 cents
per animal will be charged. Owners who require certifi-
cates of vaccination for export or other purposes should
consult their private veterinarian. No certificates will be
issued at this clinic.
Help prevent human exposure to rabies. Take advan-
