Soon '64 . . . .
What lies before?
An open gate,
A brand new year.
A slate that's clean
An untapped lode.
A page unmarked
An unknown road.
What rare adventure
May we behold
In 12 full months of 64;
The clock's wound up
The time's at hand
To greet our friends
Across the land
To wish you all both far
and near
A Happy and a Bright New
Year,
