This new organ was dedicated Sunday in Brinsley United Church as a memorial to the men "who
served their country in time of war," Organist is Douglas Lewis. Standing behind him, from left,
are Wilbert Lewis, chairman of the committee which raised the funds for the organ; Clarence
Neil, veteran of the army service corps in the second world war; Rev. Kenneth Hick, the minister,
and IrIrs. Dan Lewis, Ailsa Craig, who lost a son in the last war, "Let us ever remember the
debt we owe them," said Mrs, Lewis who spoke during the unveiling ceremony, in which she was
assisted by Mr. Neil. Rev. Hick accepted the organ on behalf of the congregation. A solo was
contributed by Lorraine Nell during the service, which attracted a number of visitors.--T-A photo

The annual White Gift service
WAS held in the auditorium of the
church with Mrs. Victor Jef-

Was read by Bobby Stone. Mrs.
Ray Cann read the story "If
I Had Not Come", Rev. Hugh
Wilson spoke on "Look What
I Found". The choir sang a
selection.

The Christmas UCW meeting
was held last Wednesday after-
noon in the church.
Mrs, William Cann was in
charge of the Christmas wor-
ship service assisted by Mrs.
Victor Jeffery. A number of
Christmas carols were sung.
A few minutes silence was ob-
served and prayer was given
in memory of the late John F.
Kennedy.
The Christmas story was
