reports were heard, Mrs, J. H.
Deibridge presided for a pro-
gram which included a talk by
Mrs. L, Talbot, a member of
the staff, on "Keeping Christ,
mas" concluding by the reading
of Peter Marshall's Let's Keep
Christmas,
Three local young men,
George Godbolt, John Mac-
Naughton and Ted Wilson, en,
tertained with several selec-
tions. Mrs. Margaret Fletcher
sang a solo and Mrs. Ken. Otte,
well played a medley of Christ-
mas songs and also accom-
panied for the singing of Christ,
mas carols.
A Christmas lunch was
served in the Board Room by
members of the staff. Mrs.
Harold Taylor expressed thanks
to the hospital staff,
Pack at Centralia
enrols members
Monday evening, Dec. 3, the
District Commissioner, Mrs.
Gwen McDonald, Goderich, was
invited to 1st RCAF Centralia.
Brownie Pack, where she en-
rolled Debbie Barkley, Johanne
Bonnier, Ardis Bratrud, Rose-
mary Simpson, Lynn Sutton and
Anne Wilson.
Aileen Allbright and Brenda
Bracken were presented with
their golden bars, after they
had walked up the golden road
and answered questions per-
taining to the golden bar work.
A number of parents were in
attendance and they were en-
tertained by the Pack. Tawny
Owl Mrs. Ruby Birch read the
Brownie story with some of the
Brownies acting the story out.
Anne Wilson and Debbie Bark-
ley acted the parts of Tommy
and Mary, Emmeline Sichky was
grandmother, Brenda Bracken
was father, Nancy Muldowney
was Wise Old Owl and Paula
Kinch helped the moon and sun
rise and set.
On behalf of the Pack Aileen
Allbright presented the Com-
missioner with a gift.
Host to husbands
Members of Beta Sigma Phi
Sorority entertained their hus-
bands and friends at a Christ-
mas party at Dufferin House,
Centralia, Tuesday evening.
The Coachmen (Robert Flet-
cher, Robert Russell and Wil-
liam Batten) entertained with
