bride's mother received in a
gold peau de sole sheath with
overskirt, brown accessories
and brown orchid corsage. The
groom's mother chose green
brocade with brown accessories
and corsage of bronze mums
and orange roses.

points the bride donned a.three-
piece navy suit with navy and
white accessories.
Mr. and Mrs. Kading will
live at Grand Bend. The bride
is a graduate of Alma College
St. Thomas, and the groom is
a gradu ate of Agricultural
School, Ridgetown.

Orange and white was the
color scheme chosen by the
bride, Patricia Anne Cann, for
her marriage to Gerald Ray-
mond Kading in James Street
United Church Saturday, Sep-
tember 14 at 3 pm.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr, and Mrs. Carfrey A. Cann,
Exeter, and the groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kad-
ing, RR 1 Dashwood.
Orange and white gladioli,
ferns and candelabra formed
the setting for the ceremony
performed by Rev. Erne st
Lewis. Organist Lawrence Wein
played the wedding music and
soloist was Miss Annmarie
Kraft, Exeter, choosing for her
selections The Lord's Prayer
and 0 Perfect Love.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride chose a floor-
length gown of French peau de
soie. The bodice was highlight-
ed by a shallow scoop neckline
and long sheath sleeves while
a band of delicate Chantilly lace
gave a cummerbund effect. The
gracefully controlled skirt was
enhanced by a band of the same
scalloped Chantilly lace along
the bottom. At the back a tiny
tailored bow at the waist caught
up an extra fullness which cas-
caded to a romantic chapel
train. A matching pillbox head-
piece held her finger tip veil
of French pure silk illusion,
She carried six gardenias with
ivy and stephanotis.
Mrs. Eugene Willard, RR 1
Centralia, was matron of honor
and Misses Barbara Brooks,
Toronto, Gail Knights, Mont-
real, and Joanne Whilsmith,
Exeter, were bridesmaids.
They were gowned alike in or-
ange peau de sole, street-length
d r esse s, with three-quarter
sleeves, bell-shaped skirts and
circular matching headpieces
with leaves of peau de sole and
rose in front. They carried or-
ange and white gladioli. Flower
girl was Kathryn Willard, niece
of the groom, in a white or-
ganza dress with orange bow at
back. She carried a basket of
orange gladioli and white ste-
phanotis. Calvin Willard was
ringbearer.

shoulder-length veil was held
in place with a tiara of crystal
beads and droplets. She carried

was maid of honor for her sis-
ter and wore a street-length
gown of aqua nylon organza
styled with fitted embroidered
bodice and full skirt accented
by a large bow at the back
waistline. She carried a cres-
cent of white mums edged in
aqua. Mrs. Dave Williamson,
London, was bridesmaid and
Miss Marion Bern, sister of the
bride, was junior bridesmaid.
They were gowned similarly
to the maid of honor.
Kenneth Wilson, WhalenCor-
ners, was best man and Gerald
Hotham and Allan Dow ushered.
A reception was held in the
Exeter Legion Auxiliary where
the bride's mother received in
a two-piece navy linen with
corsage of white and pink car-
nations.
For travelling in Northern
Ontario the bride donned a
three-piece charcoal double
knit suit with black accessor-
ies and corsage of white car-
nations.
The couple will live in Lon-
don. The bride is a graduate
of Bruno's School of Hair De-
sign, London.
