Seaferth, after which they went
to the home of Mrs. Haugh
where they were served lunch.

WIN KINETTE AWARDS
It was announced at the mee-
ting of Hensall Kiriette Club at
the home of Mrs. William_ Cle-
ment that Wendy Moir and Ri-
chard Buchanan had won the
Kinettes' two scholarships gi-
ven yearly for top girl and
boy in Grade 8 of Hensall Public
School.
As this was the final meeting
until September reports Were
given by all committees and fol-
lowing the business a social was
held with hostesses being Mrs.
Clement, Mrs. R. Baker and
Mrs. R. Caldwell,

Deitz was in the chair.
William R. Dougall, 77, for-
mer weed inspector for Huron
county and a 50-year Odcifellow,
died Friday, June 28, in South
Huron Hospital where he had
been a patient for sever al
weeks.
Before his appointment as
county weed inspector, a post
he held for a number of years,
Mr. Dougall served on Hay
township council, He also was a
past president of South Huron
Agricultural Society.
A past district deputy grand
master for district eight, the
deceased received his 50-yeat
Oddfellow's jewel two years
ago. He is a past noble grand
of Hensall 100F.
Surviving are three daugh-
ters, Mrs. George H, (Marian)
Walker, 1-lensall; Mre. Douglas
(Dorothy) Hughson, Exeter;
Phyllis, Toronto; one sister,
Mrs. Milne Rennie, Seaforth;
two grandsons, Grant and Mur-
ray Walker, Hensall. Mrs.
bougell died in May, 1961.
