casional saxephone and accor-
dion accompaniment.

When the boys on the Earl
Greenlee farm were bringing
up the cows from the pasture
recently they were surprised
to see a young fawn sucking one
of their cows.
The fawn comes about half
way down the farm with the cow
and then turns and goes back to
the shelter and security of the
trees at the back of the farm.
The fawn is quite shy but the
Greenlees know he is still there
by the amount of milk the cow
produces.
BRIDE-ELECT FETED
Mrs. Jack Dickins and Mrs.
Bob Tindall were hostesses at
the home of the former on
Thursday evening for a mis-
cellaneous shower for Theresa
Korrevaar, bride elect of late
July.
The evening was spent in
playing contests. Mrs. Arthur
Abbott conducted the first which
was won by Mrs. Roy Hamilton,
mother of the groom-to-be and
another by Mrs. Dickins was
won by the bride-to-be. The last
one conducted by Alexia Tindall
was won by Marion Abbott's
group.

The 41st Armitage reunion
was held at Springbank park
on Sunday with dinner at one

They carried cascades of white
carnations tinted with coral.
Lloyd Miller, Exeter, was
best man for his brother and
ushers were Bill Dixon and Bob
Merner.
A reception was held in the
church rooms where thebride's
mother received guests in a
two-piece ensemble of coral and
white organza with white ac-
cessories. The groom'smother
chose a blue organza dress with
white accessories.
For travelling to Northern
Ontario and parts of USA the
bride changed to an aquamarine
tunic dress with white acces-
sories and pink carnation cor-
sage.
Mr. and Mrs. Miller will
reside in Zurich.

The centennial St. Marys An-
glican Church, Brinsley, was
the setting Saturday, June 15 at
2:30 for the wedding ceremony
of Pauline Elizabeth Dixon,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wil-
fred Dixon, RR 1 Clandeboye,
and Arthur Edmund Miller, son
of Mrs. Lavina Miller and the
late Theodore Miller, Zurich.
White mums and lighted can-
delabra adorned the re-table at
the altar with white mums tinted
with coral, and ferns at the chan-
cel steps for the double-ring
ceremony solemnized by the
Rev. R. G. Jackson. Miss Sharon
Lightfoot, Centralia, furnished
the wedding music and'accom-
panied the soloist, Miss Eliza-
beth Johnston, Zurich who sang
"The Wedding Prayer" and "0
Perfect Love."
Given in marriage by her
father the bride wore a floor-
length gown of white peau de
soie with flowing silk organza
train. The fitted bodice was
styled with elbow sleeves, boat
neckline dipping to a V at the
back. The bell-shaped skirt fea-
tured lace applique on the front
panel and the train was held by
two silk organza rosebuds trim-
med with peau de soie in leaf
effect. A crown of seed pearls
and sequins held the elbow-
length veil of silk illusion. A

DIES IN ACCIDENT
Scott Harburn, 18-year-old
son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Har-
burn, Staffa was killed Satur-
day evening when the car which
he was driving went out of con-
trol on the county road two
miles south of Dublin.
He is survived by his parents
and two brothers, Ted of Staffa
and Don of Woodstock. A sister
Illa was drowned nine years
ago.

The Staffa UCW met in the
Family Life Centre of the
church with Mrs. Leslie Miller
in charge of the worship ser-
vice assisted by Mrs. Cecil
