CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY
The family of Mrs. Lillian
Blair, Exeter, gave a surprise
dinner to honor her on her '70th
birthday which was held in the
dining room of the Dufferin
Hotel, Centralia, on Sunday.
Guests present were Mr. and
Mrs. Don Blair of London, Mr.
and Mrs, Ron Fletcher of Wood-
ham, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Blair
and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Blair of
Centralia and their families.
There were 25 present. Her son
Andrew of British Columbia was
unable to be present.
She was presented with door
chimes by her family. Later
they motored to the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Blair where
they spent the afternoon and
evening.

Brenda Blair, during the Easter
holidays.

the former's brother, Mr. and

Miss Susan Dugre formerly
of RCAF Centralia, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Dugre,
was crowned Queen of the ice
carnival at Goose Bay, Labra-
dor, in March. This news came
in a letter written by Miss
Dugre's mother to Mrs. Elston
together with a copy of the Goose
Bay Gazette. Also performing at
the carnival was Don MacKellar
who performed on skates in
Exeter on several occasions.
