Douglas and Donald Hughes (16 & 15) , two local Medway students, can do more than play and sing. With another London boy, Tom Eady (15) they were Medway's representatives to complete the recent 50 mile marathon walk in 13 hours. Mrs. Henry Hodgins, who has been a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital for some time, was able to be brought home on Sunday, and is feeling very much better. Mrs. Barney Welch, three children and a friend, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cobleigh of Alice St. Lois Hodgins, 13 -year -old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Hodgins, spent her Easter va- cation with her two grandmo- thers, Mrs. Clarence Smith and Mrs. Olivia Hodgins of Exeter. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Hodgins attended a Kee-Mo-Kee work meeting Saturday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Tindall and Melody of Listowel were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Abbott. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Robb were guests at the Reidy-Wal- ker wedding at St. Andrews United Church, London, on Sat- urday. Mrs. Robb attended a trousseau tea for Miss Walker, on the previous Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Smith and family were Easter Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Tocher of Hillsburg. Mrs. J. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Birtch, who have been holidaying in California since November 6 have arrived home and are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Abbott, while preparing their home, on Du- chess St., for occupancy again. B. where she spent a week with Mrs. Andrew Dalessio. During that time a heavy snow storm, hit the district there. Mrs. Melvin Allison, West McGillivray, visited Mrs. Jim Sigsworth Tuesday. Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Ross of Ailsa Craig called. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Downing and Joan of Chatham and Miss Karen Downing, a student nurse at Brockville, spent last week- end with Mrs. Almer Hendrie, who returned to Chatham with them. Tuesday Mrs. Downing and daughters and Mrs. Hendrie visited relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Grant in Essex. Paul Hodgins returned home from Victoria Hospital Wednes- day. Mrs. J. H. Paton and her cou- sin, Mrs. Vivan Cooper of Kip- pen spent the weekend in De- troit where they visited their aunt, Mrs. Dorothy Olsen, a patient in Detroit Memorial Hospital who is suffering with a heart condition. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Russell S ho wl e r and other relatives there. Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Logan and Myrna of Thorndale spent Sunday evening with the Paton family. Mr. and Mrs. John Simpson and Paul of Kirkton were guests of the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Simpson. Rosemary Simpson returned home with her parents, after spending the Easter week with her grandparents here. Mrs. David Kestle collected Monday for the cancer fund. Mrs. Ernie Lewis is apatient in Victoria Hospital, London. At the United Church Sunday the Rev. G. W. Sach, conducted the service.
