Paul Hodgins, five-year-old
son of Mr, and Mrs, Art Hod-
gins, is a patient in Victoria
Hospital where he underarent
surgery on Tuesday for eye
correction, On March 27 he
was a guest on CFPL TV "Sun-
shine School" where a visit to
an optometrist was shown. Care
of the eyes was explained to the
children and why it is necessary
for some people to wear
glasses.
Misses Laura and Pat Hod-
gins are spending Easter week,
with their friend Miss Kather-
ine Worthington and her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Wor-
thington, Conn, Ont.

Children's War Memorial Hos-
pital; one dollar to N W T in-
stitute work and $16.35 to white
gifts and fire victims.
Roll call was answered by
naming "an old custom which I
am glad has vanished". High
button boots, bustles and high
collars were mentioned.
The North Middlesex Dis-
trict Annual will be held in
Ivan church May 23 when South
Lobo WI will be hostess.
Assisting the hostess was
Mrs. Karl O'Neil, Mrs. Donald
Pettigrew and Mrs. James Don-
aldson.
The next meeting, May 8, will
be held in the clandeboye school
with plans to entertain Lucan
WI and a white elephant sale.
