Peborne Township, died in St.
Marys Memorial Heseita/ on
Thursday, March 21.
Mr, Brock was horn in VS-
horne Township, son of the late
Willtare and Elizabeth HMO'.
He was a. member of Zion
United Church, also a member
et Exeter Lodge No. 67, !GOV.
He is survived by his wife,
the former Mary Delbridge, and
one son, Norman of Zion, elso
five grandchildren and six
great grandchildren and one
brother, WarrertBrock, Exeter,
The funeral service was held
from the tiopper-Hookey fu-
neral home, Exeter, on Monday
March 25 and was conducted by
Rev. J. Wareham with inter- Exeter Home and School Association will serve tea
and conduct a baking sale during the afternoon.

in Exeter cemetery.

and Norman Prance, Billie yule
and Lloyd Mpore.
'Grandma' knits
Mrs. John Fletcher, known to
all her friends as "Grandma",
knits happily at the Desjardine
Eventide Rest Home, In her
98th year, she is the oldest
resident in Exeter and but for
her hearing enjoys good health.
She has made two, and is now
on her third, cushion this win-
ter.
Miss S. Grigg
dies in Windsor
Miss Sarah Isabel]. Grigg, 38,
daughter of Mrs. Rosa Grigg and
the late James Grigg of Grand
Bend, died at. Hotel Dieu Hos-
pital, Windsor on Saturday,
March 23.
Surviving besides her mother
are two sisters: Mrs. Robert
(Kathleen) MacDonald, Vic-
toria, B.C., Mrs. Fred (Mabel)
Harrison, Fort Wayne, Ind.,
six brothers: E dw ard, Thed-
ford; Harold of Preston, Rus-
sell, Strathroy; Alvin of Hamil-
ton; Ivan, Dashwood; Nelson,
Brandon, Man.
Funeral services conducted
by Rev. Edgar Roulston, Exe-
ter, were held at the T. Harry
Hoffman funeral home, Dash-
wood, on Tuesday, March 26
with interment in Grand Bend
cemetery.
Pall bearers were brothers
Russell, Harold, Alvin and Ivan
Grigg, Marvin Salisbury and
Edward Devine.

gram on April 20, Mrs. A. Ha-
milton, Mrs. C. Reeves, and
Mrs. Nola Taylor are in charge
of all arrangements for the
evening.
A nominating committee was
named: Mrs. Harold Walper,
Mrs, Max Turnbull and Mrs,
W. ,G).11 to bring in a slate
of officers for the April mee-
ting.
Mrs. Wm, Lpve, convenor of
public relations, was in charge
of the meeting and gave the
topic. Roll call was "A neigh-
borly gesture made to me".

and exhibition of the Canadian
Restaurant Association in Tor-
onto this week. Among the fea-

native of Stephen
Mrs. Edward Gill, 89, died
in South Huron Hospital onSun-
cla.y, March 24.
She was the former Mary Ann
Baker, daughter of the late
Philip and Ann Baker, Stephen
Township.
Following her marriage to
Edward Gill they farmed near
Grand Bend, Mr. Gill died in
1932.
Mrs. Gill was a member of
the United Church and life mem-
ber of the United Church Wo-
men.
Surviving are one son, Ed-
ward; two daughters, Mrs. Wil-
lia.m (Florence) Love, Mrs. Co-
lin (Fern) Love, all of Grand
Bend; one sister, Mrs. Eliza-
beth. Cliff, London, two brothers
Arthur, Grand Bend, William,
Toronto; 11 grandchildren and
21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was conduc-
ted •by Rev. C.A. Britton at
the T. Harry Hoffman funeral
home, Dashwood, on Wednes-
day, March 21 with interment
in Grand Bend cemetery.
