Lucan-Ilderton combines lost a 7-6 squeaker to Forest Lake, sides inapenalty, filled contest, The game has been protested by the combines on the lity of two Forest members, Ray Moffatt and Willie Haas, Appa- rently their playing cards have been refused by the OHA after joining the Lakesides recently. Eight goals were scored in, the first period with the Lake- sides coming out on the long end of a 5-3 count. ID the middle frame penalties rather than goals took the spot- light with the visitors again gaining the majority, being nai- led for five of the nine infrac- tions called. Willie Haas, one of the pla- yers whose eligibility is being questioned, was the top point- getter for Forest with the hat- trick and an assist to his credit. Don Armstrong with a pair and singletons from Marvin Mc, Gregor and Bob Martin rounded out the winners' scoring parade. Captain Steve Storey and as, sistant captain Ken Loft fired a pair of markers each for the Combines. Single tallies came from the sticks of playing coach Max O'Neil and defence stalwart Don Urbshott. Armstrong's counter early in the closing session put the Lakesides into a 7-3 command before the L-I boys started their final drive.
