LEMON CHEESECAKE
35 chocolate wafers, crushed
1/3 cup fine white sugar
1/3 cup soft butter
1 tsp grated lemop rind
2 lbs plain white cream cheese
1 1/2 to 2 cups fine auger

5 tbs sifted cake and pastry
flour
Juice of 3 lemons
2 to 3 tsp grated lemon rind
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tbs fine sugar
Mix the wafers, 1/3 cup
sugar, butter and 1 tsp lemon
rind together and press thinly
onto the bottom and halfway up
the sides of a 9 or 10 inch
spring-form pap, Bake at 325

"Stewardship in Action" was
the theme for the meeting of
the Woman's Auxiliary of 'Fri-
vitt Memorial Church. The
opening hymn, Bible study and
worship period brought special
emphasis to the theme and the
conclusion established that
"Finding Jesus ourselves is our
responsibility, helping others Speaks on unity

Mrs. W.E. Middleton, pre-
sident, introduced the new hand-
book and outlined the work of
the various departments.

on Saturday, January 19 at 11
a.m.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride wore a floor-
length gown of white brocaded
lace over net and satin styled
with lily point sleeves and se-
quin and pearl trim on the front
of the dress. A crown of sequins
and pearls held her waist-length
veil. She carried a bridal bou-
quet of red and white roses.
Miss Evelyn Ducharme, sis-
ter of the bride, was maid of
honor and Mrs. Doris Dobson,
sister of the groom, was brides-
maid. The attendants were
gowned alike in gold velvet and
carried white mums.
Groomsmen were Robert
Scott and Peter Jeffery. Paul
Ducharme ushered.
