This created some interesting discussions. Mrs., Elton Curts took the wor- ship service. Mrs. H. Harlton reported that 120 lbs. of used clothing had been sent in the bale and gave a list of the articles asked for to be sent by May 1. The treasurer gave a gratifying re- port for the first year in the new organization. Twenty-five members ans- wered the roll by paying their fees. Mrs. Ken Keller reported on mission projects and urged everyone to bring old Sunday School supplies. The Ladies Aid business was then dealt with. William Gatz attended a district executive meeting of the Walther League at Grace Lu- theran church, Kitchener, on Friday evening. Miss Pearl Kraft and her bro- ther, Sam, who has been visit- ing here from Saskatchewan are both patients in St. Joseph's Hospital, London, the latter having undergone emergency surgery., Mrs. Fred Schroeder, who has been a patient in St. Jo- seph's hospital, London, was able to return to her home on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stelck were presented with gifts by their neighbors in Dashwood prior to their taking up residence at liironview, Clinton. The Ladies Aid of the Evangelical UB church also presented Mrs. Ste - lek with a gift. She was a faithful member of the Ladies Aid. The Berean Bible Class of the United Church are again collecting used Christmas and greeting cards for a worthy cause. They may be left at the church or given to any of the class members. It was decided to make a quilt for the supply allocation for this year. During the business it was decided to have a box social early in February.
