ident of the '62-'63 club, Mrs.
Alma. Preszentor holds the
vice-president's position, while
Mrs, Lossi Fuller. is secretary
of the club. Mrs. Mary .flolts-
mart is treasurer.
Art classes
Exeter's first beginner's class
took form on Monday in the
basement of the Exeter Public
Library. Close to a dozen
people turned out for instruc-
tion, This special class, which
still has room for More in it,
operates between the hours of
7 and 8 -o,m, Men and women
are enjoying a very education-
al 'hour with Mr. Curpoe, pro-
fessional art instructor from
London.

It looks as though Exeter is
going to have a recreational
hockey league, To date, teams
from Hensall, Crediton and
Centralia have indicated that
they would enter .hornebrow
intermediate clubs. Now, the
big question is will Exeter
have a team.
Any Members of last year's
Exeter Mohawks or others who
are interested in playing for
an Exeter club should get in

The WA of St. John's-by-the.
Lake Anglican Church, Grand
Bend, held its meeting on Mon•
day evening as guests of Mrs.
Ken Young at her home in Oak-
wood so they might honor de-
parting member, Mrs, Karl
MacKenzie who has heels a slat-
wart worker during her stay
in Grand. Bend,
Mrs. Frank Plumb presided
and a motion was passed to
augment the supply of cutlery,
glasses and china.
Various donations of material
and offers of assistance were
gratefully accepted by the ba-
zaar and Dorcas convenors,
A nominating committee con-
sisting of Mrs. Reptile
and Mrs. Maurice Tiedeman
was appointed to prepare a
slate of officers for the coming
year.
There will be a euchre and
bridge on Friday, Nov. 16.
Next meeting will be held in
the parish hall with Mrs. R.
Wilson and Mrs. K, Young as
lunch convenors,
During the social hour Mrs.
MacKenzie was presented with
a gift .and best wishes for a
happy three years in Germany.
Orpha Club meet
The Orpha Club met on No-
vember 6 at the home of Mrs.
Clarke Kennedy with 21 ladies
.present.
Dolls were given to the mem-
bers to be dressed, also mate-
rial for ,pyjamas and dresses.
Mrs. Leroy Bariteau and Mrs.
Wally DesJardine were appoint-
ed to purchase toys.
Lunch was served by Mrs,
Leroy Bariteau and Mrs. Cory-
ell Roberts,
The next meeting will be held
November 20 with Mrs, Roy
Flear as hostess at the home of
Mrs. Clarke Kennedy.

Sunday School a date of De-
cember 14 was set for the
Christmas concert,
Mr, W. F. Jennison has re-
turned home after spending
sonic time in Saskatoon visit-
ing Mr. and Mrs. Emery Mason
and Mr. and Mrs, Alex Arche-
bald of Naicom, Sask. Mr, and
Mrs, E. Mason returned to
Grand Bend with Mr. Jennison
and are visiting relatives and
friends here, On their way home
they called on Mr. Dennison's
daughter (Pearl) Mr. and Mrs.
Chester DesJardine and family
of Pinewood, Ont. Their oldest
daughter Susan has just com-
pleted a hair dressing course
in Winnipeg and is working
there.

toon is visiting Mr. and Mrs,

Alex Hamilton attended the
London Area Convention of the
Womea's Institutes last Mon-
day and Tuesday at Hotel Lon-

spent last week with her daugh-

lar dystrophy campaign spon-

local fire brigade.
