has bed many games curtailed
due to poor weather
Friday's fixture was played
almost entirely in the '1'-Birds'
end of the field, but they held
their foes scoreless most of the
way, mainly on five pass inter-
ceptions.
Merle Idle hauled in four and
Robert .Mickle picked off one of
1.1ilke Nagel's passes.
However, Nagel kicked a 24-
yard punt into the T-Birds' end
zone and Robert Mickte was
touched by Donald Campbell be-
fore he could get out on what

so at the arena on Saturday,
Pee wee house league will
operate from 8:00 a,m, until
11100 a.m. and then the squirts
will take over from :11 to 12.

The Exeter Figure Skating
CM wilt launch its program
this Saturday afternoon (Nov.
to) at 3:00 p.m.
The figure skating program
will run each Saturday from
3 to 5 p.m, approximately, Reg-
istrations will be accepted this
Saturday at, the Exeter Arena.
The fee is the same as last
year, $'10,
Beginner's ' Art Class
We have had several Inquiries
about the possible formation of
a "beginner's art class". This
idea will become a reality next
Monday evening (Nov, 12) as
Mr. Greg Curnoe, our profes-
sional ant instructor from Lon-
don, wilt arrive at the Exeter
Public Library at '7;00 p.m. to
instruct the class.
The beginner's class wilt nun
one hour prior to the original
class which is in its third year
of painting.
Anyone interested in attend-
ing the sessions for beginners
is welcome to conic to the class-
es which start next Monday.

Physical Pitness
The Exeter and district phys-
teal fitness program for the
ladies starts tonight (Thurs.,
Nov. 8) at South. Huron Dis-
trict High School, The program
gets under way at 7:30 p.m,
sharp so we would suggest that
you be on time.
Registrations will be taken at
the high school the night of the
first classes. By the way, don't
forget (het if you would rather have the classes Tuesday
evening to let us know, There
have been a few inquiries about
Tuesday and if 'we get enough,
we can run the fitness prograM
on Tuesdays as well.
