Dirk Goemaat, 61, died at his
late residence, Northville, RR
1 Thedford, on Tuesday, Sep-
tember 18,
lie is survived by his wife,
the former Margaret Coummi;
two sons, Adrie Goematit, Pine-
town, North Carolina, and Peter
Goemaat, Noordwyk, Holland;
three daughters, Mrs. Jacob
(ilinney) Hajee, Apeldoorn,
Holland,
and
Hendricka. Goe-
maat and Miss Lcis Goemaat,
both of Holland; two sisters,
Mrs, Arie Mel and. Mrs. Geer-
lof Kralt, both of Holland, and
one brother, John Goemaat of
Hilversum, Holland.
The body is resting at the T.
Harry -Hoffman funeral home,
Dashwood, where funeral serv-
ice will be held Thursday, Sep-
(ember 20 at 2 p,m, with Rev,
A, E. Holley, Kitchener, officiat-
ing. Interment will be in Grand
Bend cemetery,

er Roy, retired from the Parker
Pen Company of .Janesville aft-
er over 21 years of service.

fellow-employees on several oc-
casions, One of those was it
luncheon in the Coach Room
of the Hotel Monterey by the
management staff of the manu-
facturing division of which he
was a member, They presented

Mr. Parsons said the week

in his life, lie and his wife ex-
pect to travel and to spend
most of their winters in the

UCW unit starts new study
The Rev. R., S. Hiltz, Exeter,
was guest speaker at the 'UCW
afternoon unit on Thursday with
13 ladies present, He intro-
duced the new study book "The
Word and the Way", Mrs. E.
Des Jardins moved a vote of
thanks to Mr, Hiltz.
The worship service was
taken by Mrs. Ezra Webb with
the theme "The presence of
God",
Mrs. Colin Love conducted
the business. A report of the
committee on Christian educa-
tion was given and a new nur-
sery is to be formed by Octo-
ber 1 with Mrs. William Love
in charge.
A box .of religious literature,
Sunday School leaflets and
Bible pictures is to he sent to
the lrwins, missionaries in
Korea.
