They say time heals all sorrow
And helps us to forget,
But time so far has only proved
How much we -.miss you yet;
God gave us strength to fight
it
And courage to share the blow,
But what it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.

Where the flowers gently wave,
Lies the one we loved so

Thou we could not, save.
Deep in our heart lies a pic-

More precious than silver or

It is a picture of you, dear

reasons!
You may get sprayed with
one of the most obnoxious sub-
stances known to man. and the
skunk probably is assisting
future gardening by 'ridding
the land of grubs, cutworms
and the larvae of other pests.
However, if the animals get
under the porch or garage and.
must be got rid of, here are
some suggestions from Lands
and Forests officers:
Wait till Ulm skunks are out
of the holes and block them,
To trap the skunk, a simple
box trap will do, using an egg
bait, The egg must be broken
and placed in the box or on a
steel trap.
If a steel trap is used, where
there are no neighbour's pets
to get into it, its chain should
be attached to a long pole so
the skunk can be lifted off the
ground and lowered into a sack
to be disposed of by drowning
or carried far away and re-
leased. Live - trapped skunks
may also be gassed by a car
exhaust.
What to do if the skunk gets
in a parting shot with its built-
in atomizer? Skunk musk may
he washed off with tomato
juice. Still, skunks are best left
alone, Generally around sub-
urban gardens, they do no
harm and create no nuisance
unless the family dog puts
them on the defensive, con-
servation officers say. On the
contrary, they have their own
