form of a question and answer

was presented by Carol Howe,
Joyce Kerslake and Bonnie
Kerslake.
The girls explained their mis-
sionary Project on British Gui-
ana by commenting on the
maps and pictures on display,
They also 'had a display of
crafts, mats, cushion tops, oven
mitts and candles. There were
12 guests and ten girls present.

Ross Christian has been ad-
vised by the Canadian Bankers'
Association that he has been
awarded second prize in this
year's essay in the junior divi-
sion.
This annual competition on a
p banking theme is open to all
employees of all Canadian banks
and their branches in other
parts of the world, This is the
seond time that Ross has
placed in the winning group,
having won sixth place two
years ago,
lie is now stationed at Chip.
paws branch of the Bank of
Montreal.
Ross is the son of Mr, and
Airs, K. K. Christian of Hen-
sall. He attended South Huron
District; High School, Exeter,
graduating with honors and
started his banking career in

dies in Calgary

Mrs. Jim Biggar, the form-
er Mildred Grace Delta of Kip-
pen, and now of Namaka, Al-
berta, died in Calgary General
Hospital on Tuesday, August
61 in her 42nd year.
She is survived by her hus-
