The Exeter Times-Advocate, 1962-07-26, Page 9St. Marys gets office A branch office of British Mortgage & Trust Company will be opened in St. Alarys, Wilfrid P, Gregory, Q.C., exe- cutive vice-president and man• aging director, has announced. One of the oldest business properties, the White & May Department Store, situated on the northwest corner of Queen and Wellington Streets has been purchased. The building will be demolished and a mo- dern, new office, suitable for the company's purposes, will be erected on the site. British Mortgage will take' over the property at the end of September. It is expected that temporary quarters will be used until the new building is com- pleted. Manager will be William Somerville, a St. Marys coun- cillor.
