Area fishermen will have, an
added incentive when they head
for their favorite fishing spots
this summer as they will be
competing for prizes for the
biggest species landed.
The competition is being spon-
sored by the recently formed
Grand Bend and Area Sport-
men's Association eon is open
to anyone fishing in an area
from Shepherd's Point south of
Kettle Point to St. Josephs.
The prizes will be awarded
for the largest perch and the
largest pickerel caught, A
handsome trophy donated by
Jack McInnis of the Imperial
Hotel goes with the. prize.
All persons entering will also
be. eligible for several draws,
so while they may not catch
the biggest fish, they still have
a chance to take home a prize.
