These five RCAF Centralia Scouts were named the best patrol at the Huron camp

Prior to her wedding of Sat-
urday,. June 23 Miss Marie Jar-
rott was honored at several
showers. Miss Doris Tully and
Miss Elaine McNoy, two class-
males of Marie's. entertained
at Stratford for the rest of the
class which were in training
together. They presented Marie
with a clothes hamper filled
with miscellaneous gifts, Fifteen.

Mrs. Cla.ylon Brock and Mrs.
Gerald Gaiser entertained
friends and relatives for a Sur-
prise pantry shower held at the
home of Mrs. Wiliam Dickey at
Zion.
Mrs. William Bell entertained
the 4-H club members for a
shower for Marie. They pre-
seined her with a table lamp
and a magazine rack. Miss Mar-
ioR Turner showed slides of re-
cent trips sbe had taken.
St. Andrew's United Church,
Kippen, and SS :3 Hay presented
Marie with a miscellaneous
shower. A program was ar-
ranged by Mrs. Harold Jones.
Contests were conducted by
Mrs. Emerson Anderson and
Miss Phyllis Lostelt, The ad-
dress wva s read by Mrs. Homer
Campbell and lunch served,
The staff of 4-E paediatric's
floor, St. Joseph's Hospital,
London, where the bride has
been employed for the past nine
months presented Marie with
corning-ware.

Hensall, was hostess at a tea
at her home in honor of her
daughter, Miss Marie Jarrott
whose marriage took place Sat-
urday, ,tune 23.
The tea table was decorated
with a lace cloth, pink candles
and centred with pink, mums
and blue cornflowers in a silver
dish,
Receiving guests at the door
were the bride-elect, her moth-
er, and the groom's mother,'
Mrs. Alma Brunzlow.
Pouring tea were: Mrs. Isaac
Gower, Mrs. Elizabeth Ander-
son, grandmothers of the bride
and groom, and Mrs, Joseph
Bullock, aunt of the groom and
Mrs. G. Koehler.

Fletcher, Mrs. Gerald Geiser,
Mrs, Clayton Brock and Mrs.
Maurice Haist, sister of the
bride.
