The Exeter Times-Advocate, 1962-06-07, Page 10Young entertainers from 11 different centres were chosen at a juvenile eontek Friday to per- form before the large crowd es- peeled at this year's Kirkton Garden Party. London TV personality Dave Wilson selected 15 winners from among 28 entries who displayed their talent in Aberdeen Hall, Kirkton. Said Mr. Wilson: "Everyone of them is worthy of appearing at the garden party. It's just too bad we have to eliminate any of these acts". Three singers, four inatru• mentalists and eight specialty numbers were chosen by Mr. Wilson. Three of the numbers came from St. Paul's, near Kirkton. Master of ceremonies for the contest was Rev. T.
