different centres were chosen at
a juvenile eontek Friday to per-
form before the large crowd es-
peeled at this year's Kirkton
Garden Party.
London TV personality Dave
Wilson selected 15 winners from
among 28 entries who displayed
their talent in Aberdeen Hall,
Kirkton.
Said Mr. Wilson: "Everyone
of them is worthy of appearing
at the garden party. It's just
too bad we have to eliminate
any of these acts".
Three singers, four inatru•
mentalists and eight specialty
numbers were chosen by Mr.
Wilson. Three of the numbers
came from St. Paul's, near
Kirkton.

Mission services were held in
the BUB -church last week start-
jag on Thursday evening with
Rev. and Mrs. Douglas Pletch
of Port Elgin as speakers. They
went to Brazil under Mission
Board of EUB church.
On Friday evening Rev. and
and Mrs, D. Brook from Japan
spoke, They have adopted a
Japanese girl, Megumi, two
years old.
The Saturday evening speaker
was Rev, George Peck who is
