WHY IS SOCIAL CREDIT SWEEPING CANADAr
Social Credit has the answers. This week our leaders.,
"Bob" Thompson, is explaining 'the two price system
(sometimes called Parity Pool) to farmers in WestersO
Canada. Basically, it by-passes 'the "financiers" the"
"world bookkeepers" or "money jugglers" and main=;
tains parity between say, a bushel of Canadian wheats
against a Sheffield knife and fork, • e
WHY CAN WE SAVE 40% ON PUBLIC
BUILDINGS, SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, ETC.?
(Mentioned in last week's adv.)
The Municipal Bank we propose to do this (see ALiz
berta's Act re: loaning funds at 2sS) is already founds:.
in Federal legislation of 1938, but quietly shelved in:
1940. Why? Would you like to think you paid scoots ,
for each $2,400 car you purchased since 1938? More:
about this next week.
A few copies of "CANADIANS, IT'S TIME YOU KNEW"
are still available at 50s, and do supply all the answers.

Proceedings will get under -way
at .9130 sharp) All voaches,
managers and. players are
Asked to be on band in front of
the theatre at 9:4 a,m.
The banquet is a little on the
late side this year, mainly be-
cause of the slow delivery of
stampionthip crests, etc, for
thee winning teams. Also be-
cause of the lateness ,the minor
hockey get-together has been
switched from the norm-al ot-se
ration of being held at the Esse
ter Legion Hall to the Lyric

So, we'll see you Saturday

PS track meet
We spent a very enjoyable
day at 'the lath annuarsouth-
western Public School Track
and Field Meet in Chatham on
Saturday, This meet, the only
one of its kind, hosts all of the
,public school champions
throughout Southern and West-
ern Ontario.
Competition is e x re m ely
keen with the various centres
and it takes a maximum effort
by each. participant to place
first, second or third,
Exeter Public School repre-
sentatives really had their work
cut out far them. as they placed
in the "A" division, participat-
ing against schools such as
London Empress,
We are pleased to say that
all of our athletes did the. best
they could and everyone should
be proud of them for tiler ac-
dons on and off the field.
The day was not a total loss
as far as winning .awards were
concerned as the girls relay
team consisting of Terri Laugh-
ton, Mary Ann DeVries, Mar-
garet Bosch and Darlene• Snell
placed third.
We commend teachers Gary
Bryant and Mrs, Jerry Moffat,
who supervised the youngsters
in Chatham for the "special-
interest" they take in the extra
school activity, It was really a
pleasure watching the children
enjoying themselves in good,
clean outdoor recreation!

day evening, it was decided that
the. league would be comprised
of four teams, the same .as last
year.
Junior golf club
The Exeter Golf. Club has
slowed up a little in their -play

in the students' side as local
club members .are spending
most of their time studying or
writing examinations. However,
things should get back to nor-

our article for Exeter Junior

businessmen, who we won't
