Special services in churches Services of Holy Communion were held on Good Friday at both the Evangelical UJ3- church and Zion Lutheran church. Easter sunrise services were held at both churches. At Zion Lutheran Church this service was held at 6:00 a,m. followed by breakfast served in the base- ment. by the Ladies Aid with Mrs, Ervin Devine and Mrs. V. L. Becker, conveners. At the SUB church at 7:00 a.m. the Youth Fellowship was in charge of the service, They later prepared and ate their breakfast in the basement. AL the Evangelical UB church service eight young people took membership vows and became members of the Evangelical United Brethren church.
