The CGIT girls with their
leader, Mrs. M, Lamond enter-
tained ...the members of the WMS
and their mothers at a pot luck
dinner in the church school-
room on Monday afternoon.
Auxiliary quilts
The meeting of the Marian
Ritchie Evening Auxiliary was
held at the home of Mrs. Cliff
Miller in the form of a quilting.
Mrs John Miller presided and
led in devotions assisted by
Mrs J Templeman.
The study was given by Mrs.
E. Allen and Mrs„ H. Parsons
had the. topic.. Several visitors
were also present. A special
Easter message was read by
Mrs. Frank Hamilton,

for the Easter meeting of the
WAS which was held in the

DDP Mrs. McPherson was
introduced to the Lodge by Jr.-
PNG Mrs, Chipchase, Mrs.
McPherson gave an interesting
address on the duties of the fi-
nancial secretary and member-
ship committee and the golden
rule in the Lodge. Mrs, A. Orr,
NC, moved a vote of thanks
to the DDP.
An invitation was accepted
by members to attend the 50th
anniversary of Edelweiss
Lodge, Seaforth, May 10 at
6:30 p.m.
Following the meeting a pro-
gram included vocal solos by
Airs. Wm. Brown accompanied
by Mrs. William Fuss at the
piano: readings by Mrs. Alex
MacBeath and Mrs. Geo.`Clif-
ton. A singsong concluded the
program, after which all en-
joyed a social hour and re-
freshments in the lower hall.

visor, presented a musical pro-
gram at the town hall,
Choruses from each class-
room were given and a variety
of musical numbers were sung.
Pupils from Mrs. Elgie's
grade 1 and 2 presented two
square dances while a group of
boys under the direction of Mr,
Eric Mansfield demonstrated
various tumbling exercises on.

of what they learn in their
physical training classes. The

Auxiliary at Seaforth
Nineteen members of Hen-
sail Legion Auxiliary attended
the ).0th birthday party of Sea-
forth Auxiliary Wednesday eve-
ning, April 18, Auxiliaries at-
tended from Goderich, Blyth,
Brussels, Clinton. Exeter and
Hensall.
Guest speaker was Miss Ag-
nes Lizmore, receptionist at
Westminster Hospital, London.
Other honored guests were
Miss Dorothy Hoyle, Stratford,
who formed all the auxiliaries
in Zone le Mrs. Luella Hall,
Blyth, past zone commander
and zone commander Mrs,
Mary McCall.- of Gerrie.
Two life memberships and
10-year pins were presented
during the evening. Entertain-
ment, was provided and prizes
awarded, Winners from Hen-
sel]. Auxiliary were Mrs. Mary
Taylor and Mrs. Helen Rob-
erts,
