hits 395 mark
Frances Gibson, the - star
bowler of the "Shipka Pin•
nettes" bowling .recently in the
Women's League at the Fox
Bowling Lanes in Parkhill, had
herself quite a night. •
The first two games she
bowled were just about average
for her, 187 and 150, but the
third game was something
else.
Starting out the first frame
with a blow she thought this
was going to he a bad one,
but nine frames later she was
still striking and had ten
strikes in a row,
She picked off the right-hand
three and two pins with her
fourteenth ball of the game
and woun,, up with a 395 game
to set a new single game rec-
ord for the Fox Lanes and the
league.
Frances' 732 also won her
the, league high triple.
