The Zurich :Hustlers wrapped
lip the nee Basketball title,
Thursday, despite a 51-41 lose
to the Peripatetic Pedagogues
in the final game of their two-
game final,
The Zurich squad took the
series by a convincing 07.78
count, winning the first game
by an overwhelming margin of
33 points. The loss was only
the second for the champs in
the 14 games they played.
It was a nip and tuck affair
throughout with the Hustlers
holding a slim margin until
mid - way through the final
quarter when the teachers put
on a successful drive to upset
the champs.
Zurich opened up a 13-.12
lead in the first quarter and
were only leading by two
points at the half, although
they increased their margin to
five at the end of the third
quarter,
However, led by George
Wright, who had been off his
usual accuracy most of the
game, the teachers hooped 20
points while holding Zurich to
11 to post their margin of
victory.
Wright was the scoring star
for the winners with 20 points,
