The loss was only the second for the champs in the 14 games they played. It was a nip and tuck affair throughout with the Hustlers holding a slim margin until mid - way through the final quarter when the teachers put on a successful drive to upset the champs. Zurich opened up a 13-.12 lead in the first quarter and were only leading by two points at the half, although they increased their margin to five at the end of the third quarter, However, led by George Wright, who had been off his usual accuracy most of the game, the teachers hooped 20 points while holding Zurich to 11 to post their margin of victory.
