in McGillivray
Contracts for gravelling and
warble fly spraying were let at
McGillivray township council
March 5.

Co. Ltd., Goderich, was ac-
cepted for hauling and spread-
ing about 12,000 yards of gravel
at 53 cents per cubic yard.
Contract for warble fly spray
was awarded to Jack Hutchin-
son, RR 3 Parkhill, at his ten-
der price of nine cents per
head, Scott's Elevator, Lucan,
will supply the powder at $4.75
per 15-pound bag.
Harold Mawson and George
Mercer were appointed warble
fly inspectors,
Road appropriation bylaw for
$50,000, the same amount as in
1961, was passed.
Accounts included $250 for re-
lief, $413.25 for nursing home
care, $897.00 for tile on the Hut-
chinson-Eagleson drain.
Part payment of $12,000 was
made to the North Middlesex
District High School Board.
The levy for the board has in-
creased 41/2 mills this year.
