The Exeter !ranch .collected $800 to assist the world-wide work of the society which is an auxiliary to the British and Foreign Bible Society. Zurich community contri- buted another 410.90; Crediton, $83,20; Centralia, $50.00; Dash- wood, $25,55 and !Mensal! $2.5. The society says there is a tremendous demand for the Christian scriptures in many parts of the world. During the first nine months of 1061., literally thousands of copies were shipped to the Congo, in inure than 300 pack- ing boxes.
